Apex Business Management LLC was founded in 2025 by a first responder with decades of experience in federal contracting — someone who saw a fundamental gap in the market: government contractors were being underserved by both the consulting firms that charged too much and the software vendors that understood too little about how federal contracting actually works.
That hands-on industry knowledge — built over years of managing GSA Schedules, navigating DCAA audits, writing winning proposals, and helping small businesses earn and maintain their SBA certifications — is the foundation of everything we build. The LLC is new. The expertise behind it is not.
In 2025, we launched the Apex Intelligence Platform — proprietary AI software built from the inside out, informed by decades of real contracting work. Today, Apex Government Solutions operates as our AI software and services division, bringing that platform to contractors across the federal market.

Colin Dorman founded Apex Government Solutions with a simple conviction: government contractors deserve better tools and smarter support. An active Firefighter and EMT, Colin built his career at the intersection of public service and business — developing the operational discipline, composure under pressure, and mission-first mindset that defines how Apex operates. With 7+ years of experience in business management and federal contracting, and a Business Management certification backing his practice, he launched Apex to close the gap between what contractors need and what the market has historically offered. Colin leads the company's strategy, client relationships, and platform vision.
